2026 THEME: Everyone Plays a Part
Every year on the third week in August, St. Andrew’s United Church, hosts a three-day ecumenical summer camp known as Camp OMNIA. A name that is unique, intriguing and deeply spiritual.
WHAT'S in a NAME?
In Latin, OMNIA is the plural form of omnis, which translates directly to "all things" or "everything." Since our camp is designed to bring together children and youth from various denominations (which is what ecumenical means), the name works perfectly on several different levels:
Rather it encompasses “all things” in their lives including friendship, nature, fun, growth, and worship.

- A Nod to "All Things" in the Scripture
- A Focus on the Bigger Picture
Rather it encompasses “all things” in their lives including friendship, nature, fun, growth, and worship.
Fun Fact: The root word omnis is also where we get terms like omnipresent (God is everywhere) and omnipotent (God is all-powerful). So, hidden right inside the camp's name is a subtle nod to our creator!
THE CAMP OMNIA EXPERIENCE
Every Year Camp OMNIA is centered around a specific theme and culminating activity. Most of the activities that take place during camp are designed to prepare the campers to carry out the culminating activity. Moments of fun and games are seamlessly woven into their day.
Each day Campers can expect to participate in: Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Games, Music, Story Time, and Worship.
Camp OMNIA is a purpose driven experience. Campers try new things, learn new skills, and make new friends all while working toward a common purpose, which is the camp’s culminating activity, shared with the community at large, on the final day of camp.

We are asking for donations to help cover costs.
The suggested amount is $25 for the first child and $5 for each additional child. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
