Given the current wave of COVID we ask you to observe the following infection control measures so that we can keep you, our worship leader and volunteers safe:
- Self-screen for symptoms before you come to church.
- Stay home for a minimum of five days from the onset of new symptoms and mask for an additional five days after that when in public with other people.
- Disinfect your hands upon entering the building.
- Follow proper cough etiquette by coughing/sneezing into your elbow.
- Maintain a physical distance of six feet when possible.
- Feel free to wear a mask or face covering.
- Disinfect your hands as you leave.

In brief, as a church we may either practice social distancing or ask for proof of vaccination for Sunday services. At St. Andrew's we are practicing social distancing.
For funeral services and receptions families may also opt for either option. If you ask your guests for proof of vaccination you do not need to social distance.
There is a maximum capacity for funeral receptions of 50 people.
If you rent our facility for a function other than a funeral reception you must ensure your guests self-screen, ask them for proof of vaccination and take contact information to enable contact tracing.
Both options require wearing a mask or face covering while in the church.

- Please leave the building as soon as your event has concluded.

Proof of Vaccination
- The Ontario government requires that the Renter ensures attendees at their function over 12 years of age are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Attendees who cannot show proof of vaccination may not enter the building.
- Asking for proof of vaccination means that you do not have to practice social distancing.
Contact Tracing
- The Ontario government requires that you gather contact information to support case and contact management. This information can be left either in the kitchen or on the table outside the office door at the end of your event.
Hand Washing
- Hand sanitizing stations are available at every entrance. Please sanitize your hands when entering and leaving the building.
Face Coverings/Masks
- Face coverings are mandatory unless wearing one creates health concerns.
- Masks may be removed when eating and drinking.
- Face coverings should not be worn by:
- People under two years of age, or children under the age of five years either chronologically or developmentally who refuse to wear a mask and cannot be persuaded to do so by their caregiver.
- Individuals with medical conditions that make them unable to safely wear a mask, including breathing or cognitive difficulties.
- Anyone who is unable to remove the mask without help.
- Staff and volunteers will use a face covering when working with others.
- Singers can opt for a mask or visor.
