We've Moved into the 21st Century!
Learn all about our Audio-visual Project

Why did we invest in an audio-visual system?
Our goals were to position us for the future and:
  • Enhance people’s experience at worship services and events.
  • Better support Worship Leaders, the choir, guest speakers, visiting musicians.
  • Provide needed tech support for weddings and funerals.
  • Enable outreach programs like the Community Speaker Series.
  • Prepare for future projects that are possible with enhanced A-V.
  • Attract people and groups who want high end rental spaces.
  • Ensure parts of the system are portable for off-site events.
  • Use existing components where possible.

And equally important we want:
  • More extensive use of the building.
  • A greater focus on children and youth.
  • An improved financial picture.

To meet these goals members of the A-V Committee purchased and installed dozens of pieces of equipment and lighting and ran and fished what felt like miles of wire and cable. The result is enhanced capabilities for: audio, projection, broadcast, live-streaming in and out of the church, recording, video mixing and lighting.

The system is run on Sundays by our youth volunteers filling the role of Media Productions Assistants:
  • Avery Stanton
  • Blake Gillan
  • Coleman Sly
  • Danya Hakeem
  • Queenie Yao
