Strategic Planning
Process

Stage 1:
Data Retrieval
This will consist of assessing eight areas in which we will retrieve statistical data from recent years on Finances, Demographics, Religious Trends and Outreach Projects of our Congregations and the Pastoral Charge. The numbers should suggest semi-reliable projections five and ten years in to the future. The intention is to present the information to the Pastoral Charge using visual graphs and/or charts.
Timeline for Completion: Complete
See Stage 1: Report here.

Visioning
This will involve:
- accessing the visioning done two years ago at the beginning of the Joint Needs Assessment Process
- providing at least two opportunities, in the form of Focus Groups, for each congregation to explore hopes for the future, and
- in conducting an event on April 9th with the leadership of the Conference Executive Secretary, Rev. Dr. Bill Smith.
Timeline for completion: Mid- April
See Introduction to Stage 2: Visioning here

Stage 3:
Exploring Options
With the Data Retrieval and Visioning information several options will be developed and proposed for the consideration of the Congregations and the Pastoral Charge. Opportunities will be created whereby individuals can speak to and refine the options as initially presented.
Timeline for completion: Mid-May
