Rev. Sheryl McLeod
Minister
613-624-5400 (Office)
or 1-613-401-2453 (C)
united.churches@bellnet.ca.
I discovered The United Church of Canada as a child, when a notice was sent to schools letting us know of a junior choir that was beginning at the local church. There I discovered God and community and continued exploring my faith through Sunday School, Youth Groups and community organizations.
I heard the call while studying nursing. While not ready to begin this particular journey of faith, I continued to explore faith and discipleship through my work as secretary/treasurer of Almonte United Church and as office manager of Stewart House. Twenty years after hearing the first call, I heard the call again and began to discern my call through community and through studies. I was ordained in 2011 after completing my studies and while in appointment at Admaston Pastoral Charge; and settled in Admaston Pastoral Charge.
This relationship was over twelve years long and just recently ended. I am delighted to accept a call with Pakenham Pastoral Charge. It is my hope that I learn as much, if not more, from you as you learn from me. I look forward to our time together.
